A building inspection is just one check you can get done before buying/selling a property. A building inspection involves the inspector visually surveying and characterizing the property, including any structural defects or potential hazards. State-of-the-art instrumentation is sometimes used to fully assess the condition of the home or building.
The building inspection report is a written account of the property’s condition. It will include any significant building defects or problems such as rising damp, movement in the walls (cracking), safety hazards or a faulty roof.
Depending on the size and condition of the property, an inspection usually takes about 1 to 2 hour. However, it could take longer in the larger size properties. The report is then made up offsite and then emailed out to you within 24 hours after the inspection.
We recommend meeting your inspector onsite to discuss the problem areas and any questions you may have. This allows your inspector to focus on all areas for the rest of the examination to ensure a thorough service without any disruptions or mistakes on site. We keep you on track with every step of your inspection from booking to the report delivery, so you can feel confident everything goes smoothly and accordingly.
